Our story
Jim Mooney and his wife MaryLou went camping and trail riding with a large group of friends for years. When his girls came along, MaryLou told Jim they needed a new plan if he wanted them to continue coming with him. Jim, a craftsman, went to work. Before anyone else was making them, Jim built one of the first ever living quarters in the front of his gooseneck trailer complete with a bathroom and a kitchen. When their friends saw them camping in comfort, many asked Jim to build them living quarters in their trailers as well. That was over 30 years ago…. And how Jimco was born.
Jimco is now owned by Bruce and Barbie Patterson. Jim is still with us sharing his decades of experience. Barbie is a lifetime horse person with a degree in Equestrian Studies. Bruce, an engineer, brings his over 30 years of experience designing and building interiors of commercial aircraft, super first class suites, and private jets to Jimco.
We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old fashioned hard work and quality materials and new technology and products that blend to provide an incredible product.
